1. Membership Rules
- Eligibility: Only dog groomers or grooming business owners can create a listing. Listings are subject to approval before appearing on the site.
- Membership Tiers:
- Paid memberships: Required for member listings.
- Free listings: Only for businesses who have a paid member attached to it
- Expired memberships will result in the removal of associated business listings.
2. Content Responsibility
- Members are fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.
- Prohibited Content:
- Offensive, illegal, or misleading material. Violation will result in immediate cancellation of membership without refund.
3. Liability Disclaimer
- NGANZ is not responsible for:
- The accuracy of directory listings.
- Any actions or claims arising from third-party interactions.
- While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the reliability of information on our platform.
4. Payment Terms
- Membership Payments: Annual payments processed securely via Stripe.
- Refunds:
- refunds will only be issued if membership is denied or by discretion of NGANZ
5. Termination
Any member not abiding by the code of conduct may at the discretion of NGANZ may have membership terminated.
No terminated member will be hosted on the website directory
6. Reviews and Reporting
- Public reviews are permitted but must adhere to community guidelines.
- Users can report listings that violate these Terms for review and action.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Code of Conduct
- I agree to abide by the standards in the Welfare of Animals Act 1999
- I agree to treat all animals in my care with respect and dignity
I agree to encourage my peers in grooming and promote friendship and harmony
I am open to the idea that we are always learning in this industry
I will strive to follow health and hygiene practices for our industry
I will educate (where possible) pet owners about their pets’ requirements
I understand that if my membership request to NGANZ is not approved, I will get a full refund - I understand that I will not get a refund if I am removed from the NDGANZ membership for misconduct
- I understand my conduct, actions, or perceived actions and business ethic reflects on all members of NGANZ
